Block 3 — AWS Certified AI Practitioner (20 hours)

Delivered via AWS Skill Builder, this block prepares participants for the AWS Certified AI Practitioner exam, an entry-level industry credential validating knowledge of AI, machine learning, and generative AI. No prior technical background is required. Enterprise Diagnostics coordinates enrollment, manages exam scheduling, runs structured check-in sessions, and tracks certification outcomes. The exam fee is included in the program cost.

Block 4 — Frontier Builders (10 hours)

This is the block that separates Frontier from every other AI training program available to Texas employers today. Participants work with Enterprise Diagnostics instructors in a live, applied session using the Three Vectors operational diagnostic framework. They run a practice diagnostic on real business scenarios, build hands-on experience with AI workflow tools, and each design a personal AI agent scoped to their own role.

Participants who complete the Frontier AI Enablement Program earn three credentials.

Google AI Essentials Certificate — Issued by Google. Foundational AI literacy covering concepts, prompt engineering, and responsible use. Virtual and self-paced.

AWS Certified AI Practitioner — Issued by Amazon Web Services. An industry-recognized certification validating AI and ML knowledge. Entry-level with no prerequisites. Globally recognized and valued by employers across every sector.

Frontier Diagnostics Practitioner (FDP) — Issued by Enterprise Diagnostics. A proprietary applied certification demonstrating competency in operational AI diagnostics, the Three Vectors framework, and personal agent design. Earned on completion of the Frontier Builders block and the program capstone.

No other 40-hour program available to Texas employers delivers this credential stack.

What Is the TWC ASCEND Grant Program?

The Texas Workforce Commission ASCEND program was established to address critical workforce shortages by reducing reliance on H-1B visa holders and building domestic talent pipelines in high-demand industries. Artificial Intelligence is an explicitly listed targeted industry.

Texas companies enrolling a minimum of 25 participants may qualify for reimbursement of up to 80% of qualifying training costs, up to $4,000 per participant and $500,000 per employer. Reimbursement is issued in two installments: 60% upon successful training completion and 20% upon six months of post-training employment retention.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Funds are awarded first-come, first-served until available funding is exhausted. Texas employers with AI workforce development plans should apply promptly.
